We offer a variety of both in-person and virtual clinical services such as individual & family counseling services, as well as speech and OT evaluations.
Our goal is to create safe spaces for all participants to feel heard, supported, and empowered to be who they are. We offer groups both in-person and virtually.
We offer educational coordinating and coaching as well as speaking engagements. We also offer internships and volunteer opportunities!
BLC engages with a number of social justice, health and wellness, and multicultural organizations in the Southeast.
Here at the Balanced Learning Center, we are so proud of our work to create an inclusive environment for diverse individuals to receive support and provide support to others. Our goal is to help people develop the skills needed to become the best version of themselves while embracing each person's unique strengths.
However, our mission to create a community that truly supports inclusion and embraces diversity is a 24/7 undertaking. As a fairly new nonprofit organization, we need your help to continue our work. We rely heavily on donations in order to provide scholarships and subsidize fees for individuals and families. We try to keep all services and supports free or very low cost so that all people can access what they need, when they need it. We are committed to not turning anyone away due to an inability to pay. You can help us by using the donation options below:
Balanced Learning Center is not a crisis center and does not provide emergency mental health services. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. If you are not in immediate danger but need someone to talk to, you can reach out to the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline at 988 for confidential, 24/7 support.
You are worthy of care, just as you are. Support is available, and you deserve to be heard in spaces that affirm and respect your identity and experiences.
